Daily Prompt

This is such a broad question.

There are things my parents did that made no sense to me when I was a kid; like telling me no about people who wanted to send me nude pictures when I was a teenager on the internet back when dial up was used…

But things that I now as a parent understand. It has been a phrase I use, or something basic I do and I realize – all these later – why my parents did or said what they did.

And, also, my kid is a teenager now… I appreciate that my parents didn’t delete me. I see now how much self control that requires. And our parents did this while trying to exist in this world too…

So, to reduce it; my parents raised me. That was a pretty positive thing to me! All my flaws and all!
